Spring is the time of new beginnings. At the heart of what we do is the belief that we need to eat right to take care of ourselves. And the best way to do that is to take care of the land, and the animals that become our food. We take very seriously our commitment to provide you with the highest quality food products. This starts with paying attention to where our animals come from and how they are raised. Here is a link with a little more information about the farmers that helped get US Wellness Meats started. This recipe calls for our new online store item Beef Brisket Point- pair this delicious meal with a genuine Guinness and you'll feel almost truly Irish! If you overindulge on your Guinness for St. Patty's Day, you might want to try Stan's Ulster Fry recipe which has been known to help many a leprechaun recover the day after.
The Recent Health News article for the week, is an invitation to Grassfed Exchange's 2016 Conference in Perry, GA April 27-29. This years' theme, Regenerating Lives One Farm at a Time, focuses on a farming model that regenerates the land, provides profit for the farmer, and provides a quality of life enhancing product. If you want to learn more about where your food comes from and how it can be produced in a sustainable manner that is good for you, the land, and the animal come see us at the conference.

2016 Grassfed Exchange Tour & Conference, April 27-29 Perry, GA
Grassfed beef was once a niche. It's now one of the most exciting stars in beef production and demand for grass fed meats continues to rise as more and more people join the growing movement. The purpose of this event is to help producers, processors, distributors, and consumers grow in the knowledge of the grass fed industry.
"Most Americans think of corned beef and cabbage when it comes to a traditional Irish meal on St. Patrick's Day. One of the glories of Irish cuisine is the magnificent quality of the native ingredients. Most of the beef raised in Ireland is still grassfed and grass-finished, and raised on small farms. This recipe depends on the quality of the ingredients, and the better the ingredients, the better the dish.
The new beef brisket point introduced by U.S. Wellness Meats is perfect for this recipe. It has the deep beefy flavor of grassfed beef, and a nice fat cap that is needed for this recipe.
