It's no secret that eating too much sugar - in all of its various forms - can ruin your health.

We're all familiar diabetes and hypoglycemic, two of the most common metabolic conditions which can be the result of a high-sugar diet.

But did you know that sugar can also damage your immune system. It can contribute to an overgrowth of bacteria, yeast, and fungus... and allow potentially harmful organisms like Candida albicans to thrive in your body?

Pulehu is a Hawaiian cooking method, which translates to "roast over hot embers". This method was traditionally used for items like breadfruit, but today it's most associated with steak, typically seasoned simply with ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, and a bit of sugar. Works well with several different types of steak including Sirloin, Ribeye, and Strip.

Farm Photos - US Wellness Cattle

Cattle standing in a cover crop pasture  containing 12 different species of summer and fall grazing plants.  This pasture salad bar, gives millions of soil critters a balanced diet, speeds the sequestration of soil carbon, and improves water infiltration.  In short, we are mimicking what took place on the Great Plains for centuries with bison herds as the soil managers.

Meanwhile 800 miles away US Wellness cattle are coming out of the shade for a meal of tiff leaf millet in South Alabama 20 feet above sea level.  The Gulf Coast sandy soils receive great benefit when cattle and grass plants are used to pull atmospheric nitrogen into the soil via mycorrhiza fungi.
