A Day at the Farm for a Good Cause
We want to invite your entire family to enjoy a wonderful day at the Farm for a great cause on Sunday, December 18th from 2:00-8:00.
Have an unforgettable day of fun with hayrides, our petting zoo, the bounce house and warming yourself by the bonfire with smores. We'll also have Empanadas, Buñuelos, and Natilla. No admission will be charged just pay for the activities you want to participate in or donate to the charity of your choice. We can't wait to enjoy the spirit of the Christmas season with you and hope you will join us for this special time of giving back. We are focusing on 3 Charities and hope to make this an annual event – Ser Familia – Located in Decatur, Ga Ser Familia offers a variety of programs that help Latino families develop stronger bonds and nurture their potential. The purpose of our programs is to have Latino children, youth and adults thrive and become constructive members of their communities.
Fugees Families - Help child survivors of war rebuild their lives one step at a time by providing refugee boys and girls, grades 6-12, the structure and support to succeed in soccer and academics.
Asodisvalle - a non-profit organization that provides education and rehabilitation for children and youth with disabilities in Santiago de Cali; we have a professional team of therapists for specialized processes in educational inclusion, learning difficulties, social inclusion.
The Market is Closing
We were very excited to reopen our market in November due to interest from many previous buyers and new visitors to the farm. We know it's a crazy busy time for everyone and our orders have been very low since we reopened. This means it is not financially viable for our farmers or ourselves to keep the market open at this time. At this time we think it would be best to push it out til new year. We hope to reopen in the future and will let you know when we do!

A Colombian Christmas Recipe
Our family is from Colombia and one of our traditional Christmas dishes are tamales. Unlike Mexican tamales ours are made with banana leaves. Here is a great recipe if you'd like to try them yourself. Get the recipes here...
