FREE Pop-up workshop Sunday with the Free Tea Bus!
Salvaging the heart of small living with the Free Tea Bus!
We're hard at work whipping up some amazing workshops and partnerships for early 2017, but in the meantime, we have a fun Sunday surprise for you!
Want to learn more about living tiny or mobile? Or about relationship-based economy? Join us for an afternoon with Guisepi and Edna Lu, the Free Tea Bus. For more than a decade Guisepi has been traveling the country offering free tea as a community-building project.
Come to learn more about small-scale, off-grid, DIY, low-environmental impact, high-social impact, salvaged, and mobile living. See systems on the Free Tea Bus that include running waste vegetable oil and biodiesel, harnessing solar power, using waste engine heat and waste solar power for heating hot water, using salvaged materials from wood to plumbing, and more.
This class offers an alternative to Western philosophies that atomize everything into stand-alone objects, and instead sees the world as working in relationships and systems.
We'll be meeting at The Goat Farm Art Center's Warhorse coffeeshop from 1-3 on Sunday. As you can see in the attached map, the Warhorse is pretty central, but if you get turned around, ask someone and they should be able to point you in the right direction!
