Recipe Corner - Coconut Baked Chicken Livers

Greetings Atlanta,

Are you trying to eat healthier this year? You are what you eat, so improving the quality of the meats you consume can be one of the best things you can do for your health. Athlete's Corner - Scott Mendelson Q&A
Scott~ My fiancĂ© and I need to set goals to keep us on track with a nutrition and training plan. We are getting married in San Juan in June and would like to look great for wedding and vacation photos to last a life time.  I do not know where to begin as I have never put together a goal program with any success.  ~Margot, Boston

Margot~ Setting goals is important, but the strategies put in place to achieve the goals determine how quickly you can earn progress. Eating "Clean" is not enough to earn a low body fat percentage. Going to "workout" several times per week may burn some calories, but will do little for maximizing fat burning hormones compared to a well-planned training session.

Customer Feedback

"Tastes Like More Expensive Cuts"

"The tenderness and taste of these steaks are similar to more expensive cuts, and the size are perfect for one adult dinner. I can thaw these in a water bath from frozen in less than half an hour and fry or grill for 4 minutes per side and they are perfect! Quick healthy meal. We order these regularly for our family."

Aimee Wilson of One Full Plate is a big fan of US Wellness Meats. Read here to find out why, and how she came to create this delicious recipe for chicken livers. Chicken liver is one of the easier organ meats to palate if you're new to the organ meat game, so this recipe is a great one to try!
Farm Photos

Break time on a chilly January afternoon under gray skies. Grazing events are six hours a day while the fermentation process is 24/7.

Leafless trees and cirrus clouds fill this January landscape. Cattle are warm as toast with a heavy hair coat framed in leather to defend all weather extremes.

Purchasing Information
Order Minimums
  • All orders must weigh at least 7 pounds in order to ship, to ensure everything stays frozen during transit.
  • $75 minimum purchase requirement, since we have built the cost of shipping into the price of each product.
  • You will never be charged extra for shipping.
  • There is a $7.50 handling fee upon checkout.
  • The South Carolina Chicken Bundles, BBQ Sauce, produce and cookbooks ship from separate locations, so they are not included in the 7 lb weight minimum.  The shopping cart will keep track and remind you if your order is under the 7 lb limit.
Weight Discount
  • Receive a $25 discount for every 40 pounds you order. This offer excludes items that ship separate such as the South Carolina Chicken, produce and fresh bundles.
  • This is our way of saying thank-you for purchasing in bulk!
  • This can be any combination of products totaling 40 pounds and does not have to be specific to any category.  Each 40 pound interval will yield the discount - for example, order 80 pounds and we'll take $50 off!
