Health Article ~ Building Champions by Josh Bryant

Recipe Corner ~ Pineapple Marinated Steak

Dear Atlanta,

It's officially Spring! With the warmer weather, pastures will start greening up around here relatively soon and our local cattle will begin to feast on a smorgasbord of lush forage.

NEWSFLASH! We are proud to announce that our website is getting a fresh, new look tonight. In order to bring the new site online, it will be unavailable from 9pm - 11pm (CST) this evening. We're hopeful this will enhance your browsing and shopping experience.

A Bit Of History
We've got some choice selections in our Weekly Sales Specials this week. The Delmonico Steak is truly a legendary cut. It was served originally in Delmonico's Restaurant in New York during the 1800's. The restaurant, which opened in 1827, is a historical landmark and still serves grass-fed beef. Our Delmonico Steak comes from the shortloin, a wonderfully tender, premium cut of beef. If you love a good steak, but haven't tried the Delmonico, now's your chance to savor a bit of history.

Easter weekend is fast approaching and our Grass-Fed Lamb is the perfect choice! Our 2 lb Boneless Lamb Loin Roast is on sale this week and it's packed with exquisite flavor and tenderness. Or, try our Whole Leg of Lamb for your family gathering. Each Whole Leg of Lamb is almost 6 lbs.

Health & Wellness
Building Champions: In the Health Article this week, we are privileged to hear from one of our good friends, Josh Bryant. Josh has won National and World Champion titles in Power Lifting and Strong Man competitions. In 2005, he won the Atlantis Strongest Man in America title. Josh is a big fan of grass-fed meats. His favorite US Wellness products are Pemmican and Ribeye. Have you tried these Grass-fed products yourself?

Our featured recipe this week is Pineapple Marinated Steak from Angie Alt. Angie's blog is Autoimmune-Paleo and she is the author of The Alternative Autoimmune Cookbook. Angie has been diagnosed with celiac and other autoimmune diseases and continues her journey to good health one meal at a time. Try our Petite Sirloin as the main beef ingredient to this amazing dish. We've got it on sale this week. The Delmonico also makes an excellent choice for this recipe.

Health News
Champions eat to fuel their body. Period. When John suggested I eat pemmican to take my performance to the next level, I was all over it... Back in 2005, I was competing for the coveted title of The Strongest Man in America. I was considered a top 3 finish, at best. Nobody expected me to set any records.

Customer Feedback

"First Timer!"

"I tried pemmican for the first time. I took one in my lunch box because in the afternoon and driving home I get so hungry. This was a good choice, as I could only eat half of a stick until I was full...It provided a lot of energy and kept me full. Would order again...."
