Dr. Al Sears

Mainstream doctors will tell you there's no cure for diabetes.

As soon as you're diagnosed, they'll likely put you on metformin... a drug that can cause side effects like dizziness, fatigue, cardiovascular reactions, flu-like symptoms, muscle pain, stomach pain, diarrhea and anemia.

Your ancient ancestors didn't use metformin - and they didn't get diabetes. The way they lived prevented diabetes.

"Great for on the go!"

"My 8 year old son with Crohns is on a limited diet. This is one of the few companies I can buy safe foods for him and he loves these in his lunch. There are no 'bad' ingredients that will make him sick plus they taste great! Very thankful for this company and for the affordable, yummy foods for my family!"

For years we've been told that a plant-based diet is the cure-all-prevent-all for chronic disease.

The truth is, there are many compounds in "plant foods" that can seriously harm your health. In fact, they can actually cause disease in some people.

Among these are compounds known as lectins - a type of protein found primarily in plants (especially raw grains and legumes). What are lectins?

Thanks to Danielle Walker of Against All Grain for this delicious seafood treat.

These Shrimp are really simple to make and are full of flavor from the marinade that they bathe in. The tart lime perfectly compliments the sweetness of the shrimp and the tequila brings in a zing you won't want to leave out. I also find that the tequila and citrus really help in tenderizing the shrimp and makes for an awesome marinade.

Early morning dew on winter rye grass in perfect stage of growth for cattle gain. The countryside is glorious green in late April in Northern Missouri.

These cattle are checking out a new paddock with grass up to their rib cages.  Managed grazing is a wonderful management tool for cattle, plants, soil and the rural community.
