Last week, the Roswell Farmers and Artisans Market trailer was stolen from Waller Park.
Inside: our tents, tables, signs, and supplies we use to run the farmers market at Roswell City Hall, every Saturday from 8am to noon. As a non-profit with the goal of providing our community with fresh food and handmade art, this theft is both devastating and especially cruel.
Our stolen trailer was an 8ft gray Patriot trailer with green farmers market stickers on the back. If anyone has any leads on the stolen trailer and/or supplies, please contact the Roswell Police Department at 770-640-4100.
Roswell Farmers and Artisans Market currently partners with the City of Roswell, however the stolen property does not belong to the city. We have worked hard for years with volunteers and local vendors to become a successful grassroots organization. This is a huge setback. One of our goals is securing a safer, more populated place to park a replacement trailer, since we are told that City Hall is not an option. We're open to ideas and suggestions.
If you'd like to help us start from scratch, you can donate to ourCrowdrise page. We posted a list of all the materials stolen and in need of replacing, so you know exactly where your money is going. We're also open to donations of folding tables and 10x10' tents! Please spread the word and thank you for being a part of the community we're proud to work hard for.
