Athlete's Corner - Scott Mendelson Q&A
Scott, I am in a hurry to lose 10 pounds of body fat over the next 2 weeks before a trip to the Bahamas. I feel that I have been eating very clean, but have had several break downs where I have made bad choices during the last month as well. After the trip I would like to lose more body fat, but fear I will run into a wall like prior attempts to get into great shape. What do you suggest?

Customer Feedback

"Love it!!!"

"I loved liverwurst as a kid but never ate much of it as an adult. I wanted to, but was never going to buy the stuff in a supermarket. So glad I discovered this liverwurst. It is so delicious. My favorite way to eat it is paired with eggs. I can never get enough!"

I started the AIP 3 years ago, and it wasn't until now that I really enjoy and look forward to eating organ meats! I cannot thank US Wellness Meats enough for creating these two products and making organ meats, not just edible, but actually delicious!

Thanks for the kind words Alaena!

Alaena Haber of Grazed and Enthused, offers up a wonderful idea for including organ meats in a meal. Read more to find out her secret. Our thanks to Alaena for sharing this recipe. Her cookbook, The Healing Kitchen, includes numerous ideas for healthy, delicious meals.
Farm Photos

Clear skies on a lazy late July afternoon. Cattle are content, but the pasture's plant root system would sure benefit from a significant rainfall event. Managed rest periods really shine in a dry season.

Fellow Missouri grazers are making last rounds of the day under cool conditions for the last days of July. A great relief from a week earlier where oppressive heat was touching all living souls.
Purchasing Information
Order Minimums
  • All orders must weigh at least 7 pounds in order to ship, to ensure everything stays frozen during transit.
  • $75 minimum purchase requirement, since we have built the cost of shipping into the price of each product.
  • You will never be charged extra for shipping.
  • There is a $7.50 handling fee upon checkout.
  • The South Carolina Chicken Bundles, BBQ Sauce, produce and cookbooks ship from separate locations, so they are not included in the 7 lb weight minimum.  The shopping cart will keep track and remind you if your order is under the 7 lb limit.
Weight Discount
  • Receive a $25 discount for every 40 pounds you order. This offer excludes items that ship separate such as the South Carolina Chicken, produce and fresh bundles.
  • This is our way of saying thank-you for purchasing in bulk!
  • This can be any combination of products totaling 40 pounds and does not have to be specific to any category.  Each 40 pound interval will yield the discount - for example, order 80 pounds and we'll take $50 off!
