Atlanta Real Food is run by the Atlanta area chapter leaders of The Weston A. Price Foundation. Here you will find the latest news from local farmers, get information on how to properly prepare real foods, and stay up to date on local events.
Over the past decade, the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) has protected the rights of farmers, consumers, artisan food producers, and homesteaders to engage in direct commerce so that you can eat the foods of your choice from the source of your choice.
FTCLDF is a true grassroots organization with the majority of funding coming from membership fees and individual donations. Annual membership fee rates are very reasonable especially when compared to the typical cost of a single phone call with an attorney. Membership enables members to spend their resources on farming and producing food instead of hiring expensive lawyers.
Here are just some of the other benefits for our dear members:
unlimited consultation with attorneys on matters within the FTCLDF mission statement including food club setup and operations;
24/7 toll-free emergency hotline to speak with an attorney if there is a surprise visit or inspection from a government agency;
the possibility of legal representation at no additional cost on matters that are within FTCLDF's mission statement.
Celebrate our first decade of strengthening your access to real food by attending our upcoming fundraisers November 9-12 in Minnesota or by making a donation here.
