Farm to Table Recipe and More

alegre-farm-newsletter-christmas

Hello, Friends!

lip balm

Are you getting ready for the holidays? We are prepping the farm for cold weather, winterizing (not fun), getting hay, and as usual, momma's wait for the coldest day to have babies. Our goats and sheep will be kidding (term used when lambs and goats have babies) any day now. We'll post photos in the newsletter when they arrive!

We had our staff Christmas party last week. Jessica and Pilar helped everyone make homemade lip balm, bath bombs, and Pilar's Herbal Cold Remedy which will be in next weeks newsletter!

We're trying to quickly schedule a fun workshop before Christmas so you can come and make these items as gifts too!

GAPS - 11-7-17

FREE Introduction to GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome)

December 8th 10-12 am Sign Ups have been so popular we've added more spots!!!

"Your Gut-Brain Connection – Could it Be Hijacking Your Health?"

Today we live in a world of unfolding epidemics that appear to have symptoms and underlying causes which mysteriously overlap.

Have you or your child been touched by one of these rapidly growing conditions? Consider these questions:

▪ Do you or your child have a history of gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort, digestive issues, food allergies or food intolerances?
▪ Have you been diagnosed with depression, psychosis, or schizophrenia?
▪ Have you or your child been diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, or other learning disabilities?
▪ Do you or your child have a history of urinary tract infections or acne that were treated with antibiotics, and you later developed abdominal pain, bloating, and symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?
▪ Do you suffer from chronic cystitis, mood swings, anxiety, poor memory or difficulty with focus and concentrating?
▪ Did you or your child ever suffer from colic, loose stools, constipation, eczema, or asthma, and got treated with antibiotics for ear or upper respiratory infections?
▪ Do you or a loved one have a history of painful or irregular menstruation accompanied by migraines?
▪ Did your child appear "normal" in his or her first year of life, but then become autistic, hyperactive, aggressive, or develop other abnormal behaviors?
▪ Do you or a loved one suffer from an immune disorder?

If you answer "yes" to one or more of this questions you need to attend this GAPS Presentation.

GAPS stands for Gut and Psychology Syndrome. GAPS is a condition, which establishes a connection between the function of the brain and the digestive system.
