News Digest: Year-End fundraiser totals, call for legal counsel and FTCLDF membership types
Happy New Year! Our 2018 is off to a great, busy start and we have lots of news to deliver. First off, a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our year-end fundraiser. Because of you, we CRUSHED our goal! We set a goal of $20,000 and we exceeded that goal by $6,364 putting us at a grand total of $26,364! Stay tuned in the coming weeks, as we keep you up-to-date on how those funds are being used and how we are continuing to support those in the food freedom movement.
Also included in this week's News Digest is information on FTCLDF membership types. Since launching in 2007 with two types of memberships, we now have five!
Lastly, we are seeking to increase our attorney base in all 50 states. Working with the FTCLDF is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic nonprofit, seeking real and lasting change in the food freedom movement. Click HERE to learn more.
Have a great week!

NEWS DIGEST Thursday, January 11
Year-End Goal We are so thankful to each and every one of you who helped us reach our goal. We are humbled by the support you have provided to FTCLDF and the support for our food freedom community.
In 2017 we directly helped over 650 people, and as our resources grow, we will be able to continue providing support to our current members and new members. Even in our member-supported organization, member fees do not cover everything. Donations help keep our legal team up-to-date on current food laws, and help to support policy work that is needed to maintain or expand food freedom at the state and federal level.
Hats off to you, friends! We did it!
What type of FTCLDF member are you?
When we began in 2007, FTCLDF only offered two membership types: Farmer and Consumer. Now, we also offer annual memberships for Homesteaders, Artisan Food Producers, and Affiliate Communities. FTCLDF is committed to helping all of our members nationwide pursue their dreams, from selling nutrient-dense foods from the small family farm, to keeping backyard chickens, to selling homemade ferments.
