Easy Lactic Cheese
Lactic cheese is a very versatile cheese, and very simple to make. Create a delicious herb spread by adding salt and spices, or use unsalted as a dessert ingredient (think strawberry crepes).
This small-curd cheese can be used in lieu of cottage cheese. Farmer cheese is also called pot cheese, because colonial American women used to keep it in a pot next to the stove until they needed it
Chèvre is a soft cheese made from goat milk. The creamy texture makes it ideal for crumbling on everything from salads to pasta or use as a spread for a cultured homemade treat.
