Last Market in April: Hello Spring!

The trees in Georgia have leafed out and green vegetables are filling our farmers' booths! Come fill your refridgerator with delicious eats.

Last week the Roswell Garden Club gave out FREE azaleas in several beautiful colors. Come out and see what we have in store for you this week.

This week we will have feature Chef Eric Sell from Osteria Mattone in Roswell.  The Chef Demo will be at 10 am. Come out and learn how to make your next favorite dish.

Born in Chicago, chef Eric Sell brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position as executive chef of Osteria Mattone. Time spent living in several international locations, including Italy and Southeast Asia, exposed Sell to a variety of flavors, ingredients and techniques. It was in Italy where Sell felt he experienced a complete exposure to food, buying pizza by the kilo, bottling his own wine, studying the seasonality of ingredients, and practicing Italian traditions on a daily basis. At the age of 19 Chef Sell started working in kitchens before earning his culinary degree from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Sell gained invaluable experience working at Brooklyn-based restaurants Le Gamin and No. 7, which was named top ten Best New Restaurant by Bon App├ętit Magazine in 2009. Most recently, Sell served as executive of Creo' in Albany, NY where he focused on serving fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. In 2016, Sell relocated to Georgia to serve as executive chef at Roswell's Osteria Mattone. His extensive travels impart a number of influences, including a passion for handmade pasta, making him a perfect addition to Osteria Mattone's Italian cuisine. When he's not in the kitchen, you may find chef Sell indulging in Asian food, hitting a splash pad or spending time with his wife & two daughters, Ellery & Ava.

  • Arugula, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, chard, collards, green garlic, green onions, herbs, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, mustard greens, parsley, pea shoots, radishes, red torpedo onions, salad mixes, spinach.
  • Live plants including: begonias, basil, celosia, cilantro, elephant ear, geraniums, lantana, lavender, peppers, and tomatoes: heirloom, hybrids, cherry.
  • Bacon, beef, chicken, duck, eggs, pork cuts, and sausage.
  • Baked goods, honey, dog treats, fresh juice, and much more....
