Despite the threats of stormy weather, Alegre Farm was able to hold Farm Adventure Day as the sun beamed through the clouds
We are thankful to those who could attend our Farm Adventure Day last Friday. We know many of you come from long distances to enjoy the day and have a slight glimpse of life on the farm through our educational stations.
Your support allows us to do what we do: Educate the community through field trips by creating an environment that allows everyone to be engaged.
We had a special visit at our Farm Adventure Day.
Kay Wilson from Costco Wholesale came to offer great membership prices and to inform us of the organic and natural products available.
If you are interested in getting your membership, Kay will be more than happy to help you.
We are looking forward to another great school year at Alegre Farm. We offer hands-on field trips where preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students learn about farm life.
We are seeking teachers to guide students through interactive learning stations in our gardens and with our animals. Teaching and farm experience is helpful, but not required. Please contact our Education Director, Angie Mallard, for more information.
Email address is firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call at (770) 339-3065, extension 4.
For delicious, picture-perfect fall crops of spinach, lettuce, peas, kale and broccoli, now's the time to plant.
