Imagine this ... the freshest, juiciest baby ginger ...

Dear LocalHarvest Customer,

We know that you can get old, imported ginger at the grocery. We're talking about a different type of ginger -- baby ginger. Baby ginger is uniquely fresh, juicy and smooth-skinned. Baby ginger does not need to be peeled, and it has less of the stringy quality you'll find in older grocery store ginger. For this reason, fresh baby ginger makes an excellent ingredient for juicing.

Custom Gardens hand-harvests your order, so this baby ginger is about as fresh as you can get. Consider getting extra, as rhizomes may be frozen in whole knobs, grated, or juiced, and then used in any way you wish. You can't beat that. For more inspiration, check out this great post by The Delicious Life, about how to make ginger juice.

Custom Gardens also offers seasonal fresh turmeric available in December. Stay tuned and sign up to be notified when it's back in stock!
