Beautiful Spring Weather
Life without love is like life without spring. - Octavian Paller
We have enjoyed a strong start in spring as we have been busy with multiple activities. There have been community forums that we have attended with a gleam of great possibilities coming to Gwinnett County. We accepted as many invitations as we could with local school requests for Career Days and allowing students insight on life as a farmer. We also took part in Gwinnett County Public School's Green and Healthy Schools where we explained the importance of honeybees and exciting learning activities that can be used to add STEM to the classroom! Our field trips are reaching hundreds of students and will continue through the season! We also held the first Farm Adventure Day of the season! Our lambs are growing quickly, and our chicks are getting a few feathers. We have also been making more improvements for the animals and beautifying the banquet hall!
Our next 4 session garden workshop series begins Thursday, April 25th! Register now to learn from Tony Gobert, 8th generational farmer and lead horticultural at Gwinnett Tech. It's hands-on, it's interesting, it's going to get you gardening and gardening right!
